About the gallery
We have started our gallery here with the most popular theme for South Africa, the wildlife. However, we will shortly be extending it to include more categories such as people, landscapes and sports activities.

The images shown here are a mixture of Under An African Sky's own photography and images from sources such as the South African Tourist Board and Under An African Sky clients.

Your photography
When you visit South Africa, you will collect your own set of images. Take a good SLR camera or one of the new amazing point and shoot digital cameras. If after your holiday, you would like one or more of your images displayed here, we would be happy to give you a credit.

Viewing these images:
When you pass your mouse over a thumbnail below, you will see two figures. The first number is the file size of the image. The second figure gives an indication of how long it will take your browser to download and show the image using a standard (56Kb/sec) modem. Most broadband connections will be about 10 times as fast.
